DASH. Cao Fei

Fondazione Prada invites you to discover “Dash,” a new multimedia exhibition by Chinese artist Cao Fei at the Milan venue. This immersive project blends photography, video installations, and virtual reality with documentary footage and historical archives. Together, these works create a vivid portrait of the high-tech revolution sweeping through global farming—and the fascinating contradictions it brings along.

“Dash” is the result of Cao Fei’s deep-dive research over the past three years. She spent time in the fields of southern and northwestern China, as well as Southeast Asia, to observe and interpret the rise of “smart agriculture.” Through this collection, she shares her unique perspective on how technology is transforming our relationship with the land.
