Exhibition Highlights
Experience three decades of Ester Partegàs’s work in a unique exhibition created together by Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma and Madrid’s Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo. Rather than a standard look back at the past, this show invites you on a circular journey where artworks flow together and “talk” to one another. Inspired by Ester’s own belief that creativity shouldn’t stand still, the exhibition is full of life—balancing movement, resistance, and surprising twists at every turn.
The show dives into the beauty of the "small": quiet gestures, chance encounters, and everyday materials. Arranged like an expansive archaeological site, the layout creates a sense of curiosity and tension, encouraging us to rethink what we take for granted. It is an open, inviting space designed for wondering and questioning the world around us.
Ester Partegàs (1972) is a Spanish artist and educator who currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
