The Helga de Alvear Museum is thrilled to host the first major European look at Thomas Hirschhorn’s work in over two decades. This exhibition takes you on a journey through the Swiss artist’s career, pairing early, never-before-seen pieces with brand-new works created just for this occasion, including My Atlas (2025) and Gravity, Mass and Democracy (2025).

You’ll also get a rare chance to see the massive Fake it, Fake it – till you Fake it. (2024)—making its European debut right here—alongside the powerful Power Tools (2007) and its new 2025 companion, Power Tools – Workshop. It’s a unique opportunity to see how Hirschhorn’s bold ideas have evolved from his earliest days to the present moment.
