Welcome to KÖNIG Galerie, a true standout in Berlin’s contemporary art world. Since its founding by Johann König in 2002, the gallery has grown into a vibrant home for artists from all over the globe.

Our space is just as unique as the art we show. We are located in St. Agnes, a former 1960s Brutalist church in the heart of Kreuzberg. With its bold, raw concrete walls and soaring ceilings, the building creates a special, almost meditative atmosphere that makes every visit an unforgettable experience.

At KÖNIG, we celebrate a wide variety of creativity, featuring everything from traditional painting and sculpture to immersive installations and performance art. We take pride in supporting both legendary figures and the next generation of voices, focusing on the stories that matter most today—like how we connect through technology and the social shifts shaping our world.

We’re always looking forward, too. While we continue to grow internationally, we’ve also embraced the digital frontier with online viewing rooms and pioneering NFT projects, making sure art remains exciting and accessible wherever you are.
