The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA), located in Washington, D.C., is the first museum in the world dedicated exclusively to championing women through the arts.
Through its collections, exhibitions, programs, and online content, the museum seeks to exhibit, preserve, and interpret works by women and educate the public about women's shared artistic heritage.
The museum’s collection features more than 5,500 works from the 16th century to the present, created by more than 1,000 artists.
