Get ready to step into the whimsical world of Nikolai and Simon Haas. Born and raised right here in Austin, these twin brothers have become famous for creating fantastical sculptures that blur the lines between art, design, and technology.

This exhibition marks the first major look back at their 15-year career as it travels across the country. Inside, you’ll find a colorful collection of works that look like plants and creatures from another planet. These "biomorphic" wonders are brought to life through incredible craftsmanship using a mix of materials like soft wool and fur, shimmering glass beads, bronze, and porcelain.

As Austin natives, the Haas brothers find inspiration in the local sights they grew up with—keep an eye out for nods to the Treaty Oak, our historic moontowers, and the quirky signs and public art that give the city its unique spirit.
