Internalities. Architectures for Territorial Equilibrium

As the first museum designed by the renowned Álvaro Siza Vieira, the CGAC has always had a special relationship with architecture. Since opening our doors in 1993, we’ve spent years exploring buildings and spaces through the eyes of the artists who have worked with us. There is no better place, then, to welcome this landmark exhibition.

Curated and designed by Galician architects Manuel Bouzas and Roi Salgueiro, this is the first traveling edition of the show created for the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale (held from May 10 to November 23, 2025).

The centre is particularly excited to share this with the visitors, as it marks the very first time an exhibition representing Spain at this world-famous event has been shown in a museum outside the Biennale itself.
