Contemporary ArtExhibition Highlights
In 2026, Iberdrola, which was born in Bilbao, celebrates its 125th anniversary and they want to celebrate it by sharing a unique look at their art collection. The exhibition brings together more than three hundred fundamental pieces for understanding modern and contemporary art in a journey full of light and creativity.
Under the name Parallels, a journey through time and space: from the roots of modernity in the Basque Country at the end of the 19th century to the avant-gardes of the mid-20th century and today's most cosmopolitan proposals.
Meridians explore the themes that inspire the collection through three main axes: Light, Nature, and Ingenuity.
To make the experience even more special, the exhibition will be split between the museum's galleries and the company's headquarters, located right next door, connecting art directly with the history of the city.
