Nieuwe Instituut Rotterdam

The Nieuwe Instituut, is the Netherlands’ vibrant home for architecture, design, and digital culture. Located in the heart of Rotterdam’s Museumpark, this is a space has a story of its own: originally designed by architect Jo Coenen in 1993, the building has since been reimagined to keep pace with our ever-changing creative world.

Since coming together in 2013, we’ve grown into a unique hub that combines a museum, research center, and cultural platform all under one roof. We also take care of an incredible treasure trove—one of the world’s largest architecture archives—filled with the groundbreaking work of legendary Dutch architects and urban planners.
