The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is one of Milan's oldest art galleries, founded in 1618 by Cardinal Federico Borromeo. Its collection includes Leonardo da Vinci's Portrait of a Musician and Raphael's preparatory cartoon for the School of Athens.
