The Shed New York

The Shed is a pioneering cultural center located in Hudson Yards, New York, dedicated to presenting and producing innovative work across the arts.

Opened in 2019, The Shed was designed by architecture firms Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Rockwell Group. Its most distinctive feature is a massive movable outer shell that can slide over the plaza to create a large covered performance space called The McCourt.
