Exhibition Highlights
Come and explore the beauty and complexity of growing older in this unique exhibition that brings art and science together. Through a series of moving photographs, the exhibition takes a closer look at aging as a lived experience—something that shapes our bodies, our communities, and our history.
In the 250 m² Foyer Germaine Tillion, you’ll find striking portraits and intimate scenes of daily life captured by photographer Nikos Aliagas. These images are paired with fascinating scientific insights from researcher Samuel Pavard. Together, their perspectives offer a warm and honest look at old age, inviting us to reflect on our own relationship with time and the vital bonds that connect different generations.
The exhibition also looks at how human longevity compares to the rest of the natural world, highlighting the essential role elders have played in the evolution of our species and the way we share knowledge. As more people live to 100 and beyond, we explore how our society is finding new ways to understand and celebrate what it means to grow old today.
