Kick off 2026 at the Estorick Collection with a celebration of color, wit, and imagination. The Museum presents the UK’s first-ever solo exhibition dedicated to Alessandro Mendini (1931–2019), a visionary who redefined the world of Italian design and architecture. Featuring around 50 standout pieces—including everything from furniture and vibrant rugs to delicate drawings and design objects—this show explores the joyful, poetic spirit that Mendini brought to his long and extraordinary career.

Born in Milan, Mendini was a driving force behind the postmodern movement, collaborating with fellow legends like Robert Venturi and Ettore Sottsass.
