Veronica Ryan: Multiple Conversations is a major exhibition celebrating the work of the Turner Prize and Freelands Award-winning artist. This is one of the largest surveys of Veronica’s career to date, bringing together over 100 pieces created over the last forty years.
The exhibition spans the full range of her art, featuring everything from sculptures and textiles to vibrant drawings. A highlight includes recently rediscovered works from the 1980s. These large-scale sculptures, made in plaster and beaten lead, reveal her long-standing fascination with memory, personal histories, and how we recover from the past. You will also see how she connects these personal themes with broader ideas about history and the environment.
Veronica is known for her love of nature, and throughout the gallery, you will see her fascination with the intricate forms and patterns found in the natural world. This exhibition is an invitation to step into her creative journey and experience the stories behind her work.
