Garden of Blue Whispers, a vibrant new chapter for Ugandan artist Stacey Gillian Abe. This exhibition follows her debut solo show at Unit, Shrublet of Old Ayivu, and marks a beautiful season of growth in her creative journey.

While her previous work explored the memories we share with others, this new collection looks at the personal ways our senses—the things we hear, smell, touch, and see—can hold onto a moment long after it has passed.

Drawing from her own experiences in her home village, Stacey captures the atmospheric shift in Uganda’s landscape as the intense heat of the dry season finally meets the first, gentle rains.
