Drawing and sculpture in the ICO Collections

We invite you to enjoy a fascinating journey through 20th-century art. In this exhibition, you will discover how drawing and sculpture have evolved alongside the major social and cultural changes of our recent history.

Through the eyes of thirty-four creators —including sculptors and architects—, we explore a selection of works that originate at the beginning of the century and reach the 1980s. It is a perfect opportunity to connect with the creativity of great masters in a welcoming environment.

The journey will take you from the first avant-gardes of Pablo Picasso, Julio González or Juan Gris, to the work of essential figures such as Eduardo Chillida, Jorge Oteiza and Carmen Laffón. You will also discover the mark of artists like Miquel Barceló or Susana Solano, allowing you to feel the contrast between the delicacy of paper and the strength of sculpture.
