Galerie Dior
Paris, France
Galerie Dior, located at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, is a spectacular museum dedicated to the legacy of Christian Dior and the house he founded in 1946. Opened in 2022 after an extensive renovation, the gallery occupies the historic townhouse where Dior launched his revolutionary “New Look,” which transformed postwar fashion with its elegant silhouettes and refined craftsmanship.
Spanning multiple floors, Galerie Dior offers an immersive journey through the history of the brand, showcasing iconic haute couture dresses, original sketches, photographs, accessories, and ateliers recreated in meticulous detail.
The scenography is highly theatrical, blending fashion, art, and architecture to reflect Dior’s deep connections with artists, gardens, and savoir-faire. More than a fashion museum, Galerie Dior celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the enduring cultural influence of one of the most important maisons in fashion history.
