Michelangelo and Rodin - Living bodies - both saw the human body as something extraordinary—not just a physical form, but a vessel for deep emotion and spirit. By making the body the heart of their work, they showed us how every muscle and curve can pulse with an intense inner life.

In this exhibition, these two legendary masters of sculpture meet across the centuries in a unique conversation. For the first time, their masterpieces are brought together to explore the surprising connections and famous differences between them. It is a powerful look at how both artists captured the raw strength of the human frame and the quiet depth of the soul.

The journey takes you through five engaging sections: Two Legendary Artists; Nature and Antiquity: Reinventing the Model; Non Finito; Bodies and Souls; and Energy and Life. Along the way, you will encounter a rich variety of marble, bronze, plaster, and terracotta sculptures, paired with expressive drawings and paintings. Together, these works reveal the shared goal that drove both men: to make the body’s hidden energy visible for all to see.
