The Musée Bourdelle in Paris is a museum dedicated to the life and work of sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929), one of the most important figures of modern sculpture and a key bridge between Auguste Rodin and later 20th-century sculptors. Located in the artist’s former studio near Montparnasse, the museum preserves the spaces where Bourdelle lived and worked.

The collection includes monumental bronzes, plaster studies, drawings, and sketches that reveal his powerful, expressive approach to the human figure and his interest in mythological and heroic themes. The museum’s peaceful sculpture gardens and light-filled ateliers offer an intimate way to experience the creative process behind Bourdelle’s work. Beyond honoring the artist himself, the Musée Bourdelle provides insight into the foundations of modern sculpture and the transition from classical tradition to modern expression.
