Exhibition Highlights - What you’ll see
Sala Alcalá 31 invites you to discover “No-res”, an intimate and moving look at the career of Jordi Teixidor. Through more than fifty works, you can travel from his beginnings in the 1960s to his most recent creations, including a very special treasure being shown to the public: all of his personal work notebooks.
The title of the exhibition, “No-res”, speaks to the concept of “nothingness”. For the artist, the void is not an end, but the exact place where the possibility of creating something new is born. It is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the different moments of his career and let yourself be carried away by his vision of the world.
Jordi Teixidor is one of the essential figures of abstraction in Spain. His work is known for his almost monochromatic paintings and the mastery with which he uses the color black, achieving a visual power that will make you see painting in a completely different way.
